Development and Communications Director, Center for Human Services
Kate Trompetter is the Development and Communications Director at Center for Human Services (CHS), a local non-profit serving youth and families in Stanislaus County. In her role at CHS, she leads all efforts by the organization to raise funds and friends and promote and protect the agency brand in the community. Kate has been with CHS since 2005.
Kate is a native of Modesto but left after high school to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of California, Davis in Sociology. After finding her path, she completed a Masters of Public Administration at California State University, Stanislaus in 2010.
Outside of her work at CHS, Kate is actively involved in the community. Participating in organizing events like the Annual Mod Shop and Music in the Plaza brings her great joy. She is currently the co-chairperson for Modesto Chamber of Commerce Leadership Modesto Program. She is a local musician and married to Rock and Roll Drummer, David Rogers. Together they have Quinn, 3, and Kate’s two “bonus” kids, Seth, 16, and Zyan, 20.
